Year of call:2025
Expertise: Crime, Regulatory, Family, Civil

Gabrielle is a pupil barrister undertaking a common law pupillage. She is supervised by Ryan Murray.

Originally from Saint Lucia, Gabrielle studied Law at London Metropolitan University, graduating with First Class Honours, before completing the Bar Vocational Course alongside an LLM at City, University of London, where she achieved a Merit.

During her LLB studies, she was awarded the Mansfield Law Prizes for Outstanding Academic Achievement in both her second and final year, as well as the LLB Mooting Prize in recognition of her advocacy skills. During her Bar studies, she received a merit-based scholarship in recognition of her academic excellence.

Gabrielle has a particular interest in criminal and family law, with experience across a range of criminal matters and child proceedings in family law. She is particularly drawn to work where effective advocacy can provide support to individuals at some of the most challenging and vulnerable times in their lives.

Prior to obtaining pupillage, Gabrielle developed a strong interest in advocacy, gaining experience through casework, legal internships, voluntary and pro bono work, as well as mini-pupillages and judicial marshalling.

During her non-practising period, Gabrielle will be exposed to all areas of Chambers’ work, but with a focus on family and criminal law.

Gabrielle will be available to accept instructions from April 2027.
