Sophie has a mixed practice of family and criminal law. Sophie regularly appears in the crown court, where she is equally comfortable prosecuting or defending. She is regularly instructed in trials, bail applications, committals for sentence, appeals and applications under the Proceeds of Crime Act. Her practice covers all areas of criminal law.

Sophie is experienced in private family law cases involving children and allegations of domestic abuse. Sophie’s approachable manner has been praised by both lay and professional clients and has led to considerable demand for her services.

Her organisational skills and attention to detail have become the hallmarks of her practice. Sophie is meticulous in her preparation, which translates into assured persuasive advocacy. Prior to coming to the Bar, Sophie had a career in the NHS as an operational manager.
