Profile

Rachel qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2009 and was awarded Higher Rights of Audience (Civil) a year later before coming to the Bar in 2022.

Rachel has practised law in the Plymouth area since qualifying at a local firm of solicitors in 2009. Rachel has experience of civil and all areas of family law and now specialises exclusively in family law, children proceedings.

Rachel has experience of dealing with children cases involving vulnerable clients and believes it’s important to combine expertise, professionalism and sensitivity at what can be a very difficult time for clients.

Due to her experience as a solicitor prior to joining the Bar Rachel has a detailed understanding of what is involved in the day to day running of a case and can therefore, be of additional assistance to the solicitors who instruct her.

Rachel is regulated by the Bar Standards Board.
