Chelsea McVicker

Chelsea joined us from the Family Team at a local law firm in January 2026 and is our Senior Family and Civil Clerk. Prior to joining us, Chelsea worked as a family lawyer for nearly a decade. During that time, she advised clients across a broad range of family law matters, including children disputes, divorce and financial remedy cases, property disputes, and applications for protective injunctions. Her extensive experience in instructing counsel has given her a strong understanding of Chambers’ practice and the needs of both solicitors and their clients. This insight enables her to identify the most suitable barrister for each case and to support the instruction process efficiently and effectively.

Chelsea also strengthens our Civil Team, which includes personal injury, clinical negligence, contractual disputes and property matters. Her background in managing varied caseloads and working collaboratively with counsel places her in an excellent position to assist instructing solicitors across all areas. Chelsea’s work has included both legally aided and privately funded matters, allowing her to provide informed and realistic quotations for privately paying clients.
