Mini pupillage – applications closed.
Applications are now closed for mini pupillage in 2026 (between April and September). Our application window will reopen in October 2026 for mini pupillage in 2027.
If you wish to apply to our mini pupillage programme, when it reopens, you will need to complete the online form below, as well as the equality and diversity form (this will be available before the opening date). Once complete, please send this to mini.pupillage@devonchambers.co.uk .
In support of the Western Circuit’s ‘BarNone’, we will be offering at least 50% of mini pupillages to BAME and state school applicants with the aim of improving diversity by encouraging applications from under-represented groups.
We have a financially supported mini-pupillage scheme to help up to 4 candidates with expenses. The aim of the scheme is to increase diversity at the bar by supporting those who may struggle with the cost of attending a mini pupillage. To see if you are eligible, please check our policy here. In addition, Lincolns Inn offers funding for mini pupils for travel and accommodation. You can read more about their scheme and how to apply here.
