Mini pupillage – applications open.
Applications are now open for mini pupillage in 2026 (between April and September). Our application window will close on 28th February 2026.
If you wish to apply to our mini pupillage programme you will need to complete the online form below along with the Mini-Pupillage-Equality-and-Diversity-Form-2026, and send this to mini.pupillage@devonchambers.co.uk .
In support of the Western Circuit’s ‘BarNone’, we will be offering at least 50% of mini pupillages to BAME and state school applicants with the aim of improving diversity by encouraging applications from under-represented groups.
We have a financially supported mini-pupillage scheme to help up to 4 candidates with expenses. The aim of the scheme is to increase diversity at the bar by supporting those who may struggle with the cost of attending a mini pupillage. To see if you are eligible, please check our policy here. In addition, Lincolns Inn offers funding for mini pupils for travel and accommodation. You can read more about their scheme and how to apply here.
