Devon Chambers is pleased to announce that Chelsea McVicker will be joining us on 5 January 2026 as our Senior Family and Civil Clerk.
Chelsea joins us from the Family Team at Nash & Co Solicitors, where she has worked for nearly a decade. During this time, she has advised clients across a broad range of family law matters, including children disputes, divorce and financial remedy cases, property disputes, and applications for protective injunctions.
Her extensive experience in instructing counsel has given her a strong understanding of chambers’ practice and the needs of both solicitors and their clients. This insight will enable her to identify the most suitable barrister for each case and to support the instruction process efficiently and effectively.
Chelsea will also support our civil practice, which includes personal injury, clinical negligence, contractual disputes and property matters. Her background in managing varied caseloads and working collaboratively with counsel places her in an excellent position to assist instructing solicitors across these areas.
Chelsea’s work has included both legally aided and privately funded matters, allowing her to provide informed and realistic quotations for privately paying clients.
Chelsea will work closely with Emma Hughes (Family and Civil Clerk), Rachael Duchnowski (Senior Criminal Clerk) and Rachel Garrett-Prentice (Criminal Clerk), and we are delighted to welcome her to the team.
