Chambers & Partners ranks Jason Beal

Chambers and Partners UK Bar Guide 2018 has ranked Jason Beal stating that "he has over two decades of expertise which he extends to clients facing a broad range of criminal proceedings. He prosecutes and defends cases of fraud, financial crime, drug conspiracies and serious sexual offences." 

They list his strengths as being  "... very forward-thinking" and that "He has a good reputation and is well regarded byt the judiciary"



Legal 500 (2017) Recommends Devon Chambers

Devon Chambers continues to be recommended in Legal 500 as a leading Western Circuit set.

"Devon Chambers is notable for its crime practitioners, who have expertise in prosecuting a range of matters including murder, fraud and people trafficking. Expertise also spans civil, regulatory and family law, and the latter is an increasing area of practice for the set, with members acting across the spectrum of public and private law matters. Chambers manager Julie James leads the "very helpful" clerking team."

Opening of our new premises

We welcomed over 100 guests to the formal opening of our new premises on Friday 8 September 2017. It was good to see so many colleagues helping us to celebrate the start of this exciting new chapter in the history of Chambers. Former heads of Chambers, Richard Hough, John Bush and Robert Linford were amongst those in attendance. 


Devon Chambers to host DNA Legal Seminar

On Monday 16 October Devon Chambers are hosting a DNA Legal Seminar. Devon Chambers welcomes New Pupils

Devon Chambers is delighted that Emma Cross and Althea Brooks have started pupillage in October 2017. Both pupils will undertake 12 months' pupillage under the supervision of Joanna Martin and Piers Norsworthy respectively and will be available for instructions from 2 April 2018. Althea Brooks is the Butterfield scholar for 2017-8.
