Careers Talk at Truro College

On Wednesday 23rd January, Rupert Taylor, Emma Cross and Danielle Metters returned to Truro College and gave a careers talk to AS and A-Level law students.

They discussed the profession generally, their respective routes to the Bar, the experience they gained along the way and provided them with an insight into everyday life as a barrister. The students posed interesting questions about the practical skills required to be a lawyer, the daily challenges faced when representing clients and were keen to hear stories of personal experiences at the Bar.

As always, the event was a great opportunity for Devon Chambers to speak to young people and provide them with an insight into the profession and offer them guidance on how to approach the various stages in pursuing a career at the Bar.

We look forward to providing further talks to young people and those interested in hearing more about the profession in the future.
